Johnny is Dead

I can't belive Johnny is dead. He was just so happy one minute, and now, he’s just dead. But he’s still alive, whether he’s in the church, or in the lot, his body is gone, but his spirit remains. Johnny will always be a part of us

The Fight

The fight was terrible, and it accomplished nothing. We defeated the socs but what happened to us! We got nothing but bruises and cuts. Nothing will ever be accomplished this way. We are still greasers and they are still socs.

Poor Johnny

Johnny is pretty bad off. The nurses wouldn't let us see him, but eventually they let us in. He wanted us to give him another copy of Gone With The Wind. We have always been close, but now we are closer. His mom is wants to visit, but we aren't going to let her as long as he doesn't want her to. Dally is better, and he'll be okay.

Johnny could die!

Johnny could die! What what will we do. Dallas will be fine, but Johnny is crippled for life, if he does survive. Wow, if he survives.
There is a big fight coming up, and I wonder what will happen. I know Randy isn't coming, cause' he is sick of fighting.
I now know that Bob was just a guy. He could be mean sometimes, but he was just a guy. There sure is a lot of things going on.

Thank goodness we saved those kids

It is great that we saved those kids. If we hadn't they would have died. I can't believe we left a lit cigarette in the church. It was our fault, and so we had to come and save the kids. I wonder if Johnny and Dally are okay. Dally will probably be okay, but Johnny got hurt pretty bad. Since we are turning ourselves in to the police, I wonder what will happen. Could we be split up? I hope we don't get separated. Well, at least I got to see Derry and Sodapop. I wonder if Johnny will go to jail, or what might happen to them. I do hope it all turns out well.

Life in the Church, Chapter 5

The church is not ideal, but it's okay. I can't believe I have to bleach and cut my hair!
The baloney is gross, but at least we have water. How long will we stay here? We can't stay here forever! At least we have chocolate bars and a copy of Gone With The Wind to keep us entertained for a while.
Right now we are sitting with Dally. We are eating hot fudge ice cream from Dairy Queen. We want to turn ourselves in, but Dally is telling us not to.
And I can't believe that Cherry is a spy! Why would shy spy for us? Well, at least we will know if any thing bad will happen.
